I am originally from Slovakia, and baking is mostly about joy for me. It gives me a chance to switch off from my office job, make something with my hands and then see someone genuinely enjoy eating it.

Honest cakes, with my own twist
I am not a professional pastry chef. I am an amateur baker who does this in my free time because I enjoy making things, trying flavours and cooking in general. The best part is still seeing someone take the first bite and smile.
I like traditional, honest cakes made with quality ingredients. I do not want to reinvent them just for the sake of being different. I would rather start with something that works and add my own detail, flavour or idea.
I make every cake as if it were the most important one. Whether it is a large celebration, a wedding or a small cake for a few people, I want it to look good, taste even better and feel personal to whoever it is for.
