Koštovka uses only essential storage to remember your consent choice and optional Google Analytics 4, which starts only after consent.
1. What cookies are
Cookies are small text files stored by your browser. Browser local storage can serve a similar purpose. On this website, local storage is used to remember your analytics choice.
2. Essential storage
The kostovka-cookie-consent key in localStorage stores whether you accepted or rejected analytics. It does not contain your name or contact details and exists only so the banner does not appear on every visit.
3. Analytics cookies
After consent, Google Analytics 4 loads. It may use cookies such as _ga and _ga_<ID> to distinguish visits and measure website use. Expiry follows the GA4 configuration and can commonly be up to around 2 years. Without consent, Google Analytics does not load.
4. Purpose of analytics
Analytics helps us understand which pages people use and whether the website works clearly. We do not use this data for direct advertising profiling of visitors.
5. How to change your choice
You can change your choice at any time using Cookie settings in the footer. After rejection, the analytics script will no longer load. You can also remove existing analytics cookies in your browser settings.
6. Third parties
Google provides the analytics service. Data processing is governed by the current Google Analytics documentation and service configuration. AWS hosting and security services are not used here as optional advertising cookies.
